ID side Principal, Marie-Charlotte Bouquet, was thrilled to be speaking about the EU AI Act at Seattle's 2025 Innovation and Technology Law Conference organised by Seattle University of Law last week.

Her contribution highlighted the Act's strong mechanisms (i.e. Risks Management Systems, Quality management Systems, Conformity Assessments, Codes of Practice,...) but also the red tape challenges. As our US patented tool, a cross-platform and user-centric Personal Data Choice Management Platform, also empowers people to control AI agents through and agentic approach, ID side was excited to discuss the topic of how "Regulating Artificial Intelligence: From Where and When?" along with Charlotte A. Tschider and Mark Chinen, specifically focusing on the future of AI in business and compliance strategies -and the impact of "Guidance from International Regulation Sources".
