ID side is a bunch of friends, passionate about Tech, Privacy, and Digital Fundamental Rights. Our team is fully aware that our generation will shape the Digital World our children will browse tomorrow. Being respectively experts in security, data protection, and data visualization, we created ID side alongside our daily professional activities because we believe an alternative model to behavioral advertising is feasible.

Our R&D is mainly tech, but it is also conceptual: do we want to become "the product" and be considered online as mere commercial targets? Or do we want to bridge back from our fundamental rights - as described notably in the GDPR - to actionable digital controls? Relying on long-term litigations & collective actions or setting our privacy right(s) in a few clicks?

The plan for ID side R&D this year is to find a way out and advance discussions in order to give individuals control through simple and actionable tools.
