Last week’s Centre for Information Policy Leadership (CIPL) summit was such an insightful moment in many different ways.

It was not only about AI, GDPR, CCPA, DMA, updates about US data protection laws and data privacy regulation overall.

One of the key takeaways of CIPL Summit was rather about Privacy and Artificial Intelligence innovation regulation « Yes but How? » topic:

• - a US set of States laws or a federal law,
• - with risk tolerance setting so that companies keep innovating -even in the EU,
• - with or without automated Privacy signals at the center of fundamental rights in practice,
• - with or without Tech-enabled regulators (how could budget-limited Data Protection Authorities keep the pace with innovation without accountably enabling their staff with AI tools?).
