To be effective, GDPR misses efficient tools
31st January 2019
On 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was adopted. We created ID side because we believed the GDPR is good text but tools were missing for people to efficiently exercise their digital rights. Our standpoint was simple and blunt: with available tools, no consent can be validly collected online.
In February 2019, 9 months after GDPR adoption, our team created ID side. Our project is about providing solutions for individuals and businesses to set their specific and individual choices and preferences online, without repeating those over and over again - which, in a digital and connected devices era, becomes humanly unfeasible.
